Underground water

Overall situation: January to March, 3641 national surface water assessment section, water quality is good (Ⅰ ~ Ⅲ) section proportion of 88.2%, up 5.2 percentage points; the proportion of poor V section is 1.0%, down 1.1 percentage points year-on-year. The main pollution indicators for chemical oxygen demand, total phosphorus and permanganate index.

Water quality of major rivers

January to March, the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Pearl River, Songhua River, Huaihe River, Haihe River, Liaohe River and other seven major river basins and the northwest of the river, the southwest of the river and the Zhejiang and Fujian piece of the river water quality is good (Ⅰ ~ Ⅲ) section proportion of 89.7%, up 5.0 percentage points; the proportion of poor V section of 0.8%, a year-on-year decline of 1.4 percentage points. The main pollution indicators for chemical oxygen demand, permanganate index and ammonia nitrogen. Among them, the northwest rivers, the Yangtze River Basin, Zhejiang and Fujian piece of river, southwest rivers and the Pearl River Basin water quality is excellent; the Yellow River, Liaohe, Haihe, Songhua River and Huaihe River Basin water quality is good.

Water Quality and Nutritional Status of Key Lakes (Reservoirs)

January to March, the monitoring of the 192 key lakes (reservoirs), water quality (Ⅰ ~ Ⅲ) lakes and reservoirs accounted for 78.1%, up 2.7 percentage points; inferior V water quality lakes and reservoirs accounted for 4.7%, up 1.0 percentage points. The main pollution indicators for total phosphorus, chemical oxygen demand and permanganate index. 176 monitoring nutrient status of lakes (libraries), moderate eutrophication 8, accounting for 4.5%; mild eutrophication 32, accounting for 18.2%; the rest of the lakes (libraries) for the middle nutrient or anaerobic state. Among them, Lake Tai and Lake Chaohu are mildly polluted and mildly eutrophic, with total phosphorus as the main pollution indicator; Dianchi is mildly polluted and mildly eutrophic, with COD as the main pollution indicator; and the water quality of the Erhai Sea, the Danjiangkou Reservoir and the Baiyangdian is good and moderately trophic.

Ranking of National Surface Water Assessment Sections in Prefecture-level and Above Cities

From January to March, among the cities at prefecture level and above, the water environmental quality of national surface water assessment sections in 30 cities including Jiayuguan, Qiandongnan and Chongzuo is relatively good (from the 1st to the 30th), and the water environmental quality of national surface water assessment sections in 30 cities including Baicheng, Kaifeng and Yuncheng is relatively poor (from the 1st to the 30th from the bottom), as shown in Attachment Table 1-Attachment Table 2. The changes in the water environmental quality of national surface water assessment sections in 30 cities such as Lvliang, Hohhot and Weinan 30 cities national surface water assessment section water environment quality change situation is relatively good (from the 1st to the 30th), Baicheng, Dingxi and Chaoyang and other 30 cities national surface water assessment section water environment quality change situation is relatively poor (from the bottom 1 to the bottom 30).
